Friday, January 19th

  • Set-Up - Friday: 6:30pm - 9:00pm [Sold Out]

    As a set-up volunteer, you will arrive and follow as directed to set-up and clean the space in preparation for the tournament. This could mean sweeping, mopping, throwing out trash, setting up tables/chairs, breaking down boxes, and setting up canopies, sorting supplies and setting up coaches room, registration set up, sorting shirts.

    Duties:
    Tear down tables/chairs, event items, etc. under the direction of Makayla, Cristy, and Becca
    Wear close-toed shoes, comfortable clothes to move, crouch, lift objects.

    **VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 40LBS.**


Boys Tournament - Saturday, January 20th

  • Media/Photography - Saturday: 8:50am - 4:00pm [Sold Out]

    We are looking for an individual to come and take a multitude of videos and photos that can help promote CCA/Winter Cup and tell a story of the day.

    Duties:
    - Take photos and videos of players, volunteers, and team photos etc.
    - Making sure to take many photos with no faces for ease of posting/sharing in the future.

    Please come with your own camera equipment.


  • Drivers - Saturday: 7:00am - 8:00am [5 remaining]

    We are looking for volunteers who have a clean driving background and can provide proof of full coverage car insurance with bodily coverage. Volunteer drivers will be told latest, the night before of their pick-up locations with address, player name and contact numbers. You will be expected to only pick-up the players on your list and be flexible with last minute changes as needed.

    Duties:
    - Pick-up players as directed by Becca
    - Ensure only the players you have been assigned are in your designated car
    - Inform Becca of any issues, changes


  • Medical Personnel - Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00pm [Sold Out]

    Address any needs that arise during the tournament. Report to Becca and Cristy. Must have CPR certification.

    Duties:
    - Report any issues to Lead Team


  • Registration Line Host - Saturday: 8:00am - 11:00am [Sold Out]

    We are looking for volunteers that are adaptable, energetic, and patient. There may be communication issues with some players/families with lower English, being proactive and problem solving will be beneficial. You will be expected to manage the check in line, and hand out snacks, as directed by Cristy.

    Duties:
    - Direct players to correct bracket check-in table
    - Hand out snack bar/banana to each player
    - Help direct kids as needed to coaches, fields, and bathrooms

    This position will be a flexible and intuitive one. The main responsibility will be to prep, maintain, and clean up 2-3 water stations. During the time in between, paying attention to surroundings, proactively cleaning the space, and sanitizer drink station area is expected.

    Duties:
    - Prep, stock water, cups, gatorade, and hand sanitizer at stations regularly throughout shift (checking stations every 10-20 minutes).
    - Ensure there are no slip hazards from water
    - Distribute snack bags at allotted times to assistant coaches
    - In between checking drink stations, additional tasks include:
    - Walking the parameter of the tournament area
    - Checking for trash, replacing trash bags, prepping tables for lunch, checking bathrooms, and checking in with lead team for any additional needs.

    Food distribution will be in charge of distributing pizza to players and cleaning up food areas. This needs to be done quickly and efficiently.

    Duties:
    - Help players line up and sanitize hands.
    - Check that players are only going through line one time until second helpings are announced.
    - Players and volunteers first, if leftovers parents and siblings can go through the line.

I certify that I am physically able to participate in CCA events and activities and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I acknowledge that this activity may carry with it the potential for death, dismemberment, serious injury, and personal loss. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of other people (such as participants, volunteers, spectators, and coaches), and lack of hydration.
This waiver and release of liability shall remain in effect for the duration of my participation in the activity, during this initial and all subsequent events of participation.
